Meet the Tisdales

Tisdale Animal Hospital is run by husband / wife duo Dr. Elizabeth Tisdale and Zach Tisdale. 

Dr. Tisdale is your local veterinarian from right here in Louisville.  She attended West Virginia University with a major in Animal Science before going to veterinary school.  She graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 after completing her clinical year at Colorado State University.   Dr. Tisdale has a passion for preventative medicine and soft tissue surgery and wants to do everything she can to keep your pet healthy and happy.

Zach is a former neurophysiologist and Ohio University graduate who is now running the business side of Tisdale Animal Hospital.  Together Zach and Elizabeth have the two cutest and sweetest boys and a very handsome Dalmatian named Derby. 

Becka Sommerr

Practice Manager

Becka is from Louisville and has been with TAH since September 2022. She oversees the day-to-day operations at the clinic and is eager to meet you and to provide your pet with the best care!  Becka enjoys spending time with her family and watching Georgia football in the fall (Go Dawgs!). She is a lifelong animal lover with 9 pets of her own and has found her true calling in Veterinary Medicine.

Caroline Keller

Client Services Coordinator

Caroline is our client services coordinator. She is the smiling face up front who cannot wait to greet you and your pets! She has a Master's degree in Public Health and a minor in Business Administration. She lives in Louisville with her husband, dalmatians, and two sweet babies!

Summer Whitney

Client Services Coordinator

Summer moved to Louisville from Greensboro, NC in 2019 and loves living here. She is a proud wife, and mom to three amazing children. Summer enjoys family time, yoga, reading, movies, and playing with her sweet little dog, Hazel. Connecting with TAH's wonderful clients and their pets makes Summer very happy!

Megan Drumm

Veterinary Assistant

Megan is a cat mom of two and loves dogs as well! With more than three years of experience in animal care, she is dedicated to ensuring the well-being of all pets she encounters. Megan and her husband relocated from Annapolis, MD to Louisville in 2022 and have quickly fallen in love with the city. In her free time, Megan enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, and cozying up on the couch with her cats. She's excited to meet and care for your beloved furry family members!
